Summary

I am a Ph.D. student in Dr. C.P. James Chen’s lab, with a research focus on applying machine learning techniques to animal data for improving productivity, sustainability, and animal welfare in livestock systems. Such as developing acoustic-based models to detect cattle eructation as a cost-effective alternative for methane emission monitoring in ruminants and exploring the potential of audio data to assess animal welfare conditions.
